Lorenz’s difficult upbringing left him searching for stability and direction. He worked hard, rising from poverty and working menial jobs until he became a successful entrepreneur. But, he didn’t find what he was looking for in his accomplishments. 

When Lorenz came to fully embrace Christ in 2020, he finally discovered the peace, love, and fulfillment he was looking for. However, maintaining a relationship with God was harder than he imagined. The world kept getting in the way. It was only through the strength of the Holy Spirit that Lorenz was able to grow in faith.

During this time, Lorenz discovered wall art as a practical reminder to keep his mindset on Christ. A vision began taking shape: Lorenz would use his knowledge of contemporary art, passion for faith, and entrepreneurial spirit to create something for the service of God. He would utilize popular styles and fashions to help believers grow in faith and inspire nonbelievers to seek God. And Strength by Spirit was born!

When Lorenz started this ministry, he realized that God had been preparing him for it his entire life. All of his experiences and knowledge were being used to the glory of God. In that way, this business reflects his faith journey.

The mission of Strength by Spirit is to be a platform that inspires Christians to apply their faith to daily life and helps others come to know Christ. Lorenz dreams that God will expand this ministry into Christian clothing, apparel, and media as other avenues to spread the Good News.
